Halloween Costume Sale

October 2019

We will be running a Sustainable Halloween Costume Sale in the form of a costume drop and shop event over the next few weeks in the run up to Halloween. This is great way to declutter those preloved and unwanted costumes that the little ones have grown out of and drop them off to us at the locations and dates listed below.

All are welcome to come along to Scoil Ursula on Sunday 20th October for the Sustainable Halloween Costume Sale and buy a costume for a small donation (suggested donation of €5). It’s for a great cause!

Drop off locations are as follows:

  • Bessborough Creche, Thursday 10th – 17th (12pm)
  • Crab Lane School, Tuesday 8th – 11th October
  • Avondale United FC, Friday 11th October 6pm – 7pm (Ursulines Academy Training location)
  • Scoil Ursula Primary School, Monday 14th – 16th October
  • Beaumont Boys School, Tuesday 15th – 16th October
  • Beaumont Girls School, Tuesday 15th – 16th October
  • Nurture Childcare (Blackrock), Thursday 17th October
  • The Village Montesorri, Tuesday 8th – 11th October
  • Ballintemple Food Stores, Monday 14th – Friday 18th October.

Picnic and Pop-up Playground

May 2019

Come along to The Marina Park (see map below) on Sunday 5th May for a picnic and a Pop-up Playground! Loads of great toys, games to play and fun for all the family!!

There is no parking along the Marina so why not take this opportunity to walk, cycle or scoot your way down to us – much better for the environment too! The nearest parking is at Blackrock Village, Ursulines Convent, and Páirc Uí Chaoimh (Marina side).

We are looking forward to seeing you all there for great afternoon of community fun. Admission is FREE so bring the whole family with a picnic and join in with the activities and music in the park!
